Space for creativity, design and the desire for the new with varnishes made by master craftsmen experts at Mario Donà Mosaics. Here, at our company in Spilimbergo, in the province of Pordenone, we have been specialized in the production of varnishes and gold for mosaics for several years, including the creation of Venetian and Byzantine varnishes and the manufacture of transparent glass for modern mosaics. Our products are ideal for artistic and monumental mosaic work, swimming pools, floors, sacred pieces and cemeteries. We also produce special glass, such as avventurina and chalcedony gemstones. The high quality of the raw materials used in the processing phases and the meticulous care that characterizes every process of our production have contributed to transforming our reality into a process that is synonymous with reliability. Our projects are capable of lasting unaltered over time.

GLAZE

In the laboratories of via Marchetti 6 in Spilimbergo we produce plate and mosaic tiles in different formats, cut with smooth or blanked sides.

PLATE

Ideal for creating decorative and artistic mosaics, the transparent tesserae we offer are made from a slab with a thickness of 10 mm and are cut with a size of about 27 X 55 cm.

TRANSPARENT

The varnishes made in our laboratories are available in many colour shades and are all produced via a meticulous procedure.

To ensure the guarantee of only high quality products, we pay great attention to our choice of raw materials and to all of the processing phases. Thanks to our experience in the sector, which we scrupulously pass on from generation to generation, we produce a stable glass that is guaranteed to be preserved over time. Moreover, with the substitution of some raw materials, varnishes are tested to achieve the certainty of obtaining a constant and long lasting glass.

We keep an eye out for hobbyists as well: we provide multi-coloured mixtures and blends that come in different shades, both in varnishes and transparent colours.

In one kilogram, with the exception of some mixtures, you will find five shades in colours that range from light to dark.

We also produce plates in our factory. That is, varnishes with a thickness of 4/5 mm. Ideal for modern work, it is suitable for creating large tables, small tables and trays as the surface remains smooth. It is also possible to make floors, kitchen protections and to cover bathrooms.

All of the colours from our samples M1 to M95 are in stock. In addition, we can create multi-coloured plates and colours from our samples upon request.

Born from the creativity of Marco Donà, these plates are unique pieces that combine the colour contained in crucibles with other coloured glass of contrasting shades, creating these unique and fascinating plates that, at times, appear too beautiful to cut.

To embellish your mosaics, we also supply the original Millefiori (Murrine) of Murano. They are available in opaque and transparent colour mixtures in a wide choice of diameters, in addition to single colours. They are ideal for jewellery making and are supplied in 100 gram bags.
